Rachel L. Bell | Rhonda S. Kinslow
We are two women who are committed to achieving excellence and greatness both professionally and personally. We love the practice of law, our families and our community. That love and commitment has fueled our desire to form a law firm that embodies those things in life that we find most important and that is accessible to people from all walks of life. Our partnership was born out of a desire to provide high quality legal services to businesses and individuals in need, a desire to bring diversity and innovative solutions to the legal profession and community at-large and a desire to provide employment opportunities during one of the worst economic times in history. We are advocates and promoters of small businesses realizing that it is small businesses that are the backbones of communities. We are excited about our partnership and the opportunities that will manifest themselves for us, our clients and our community!
We were both raised in the Bordeaux area of North Nashville where we learned the values of respect for your fellow man, humility, and hard work. Our fathers are both entrepreneurs who began their businesses in North Nashville and were both active in the community. Our mothers are both educators who have taught in Metro Public Schools for a collective total of over 50 years! Our parents all attended Tennessee State University one of the pillars of the North Nashville community. With this -legacy and background, we learned the importance of hard work, community involvement and dependability.
We are both proud products of Metro Nashville Public Schools. Rhonda attended Bordeaux Elementary, Cumberland Elementary, Caldwell Magnet School (now Meigs) and Whites Creek High School. Rachel attended Kings Lane Elementary (now Robert E. Lillard), St. Pius X Catholic School, Ewing Park Middle School and Hillsboro High School. We believe strongly in the success and viability of our public school system and understand that a well-funded public school system fuels the work force and ultimately the economy of our great city. We vow to continue to support Nashville public schools in any way we can. We currently provide opportunities for public school students to intern at our law firm with the hope of inspiring and encouraging them to pursue higher education and consider the legal profession. While the interns get practical hands-on experience, we get all the benefit and reward in seeing young minds shaped and young lives transformed. It is through these experiences and opportunities that make everything we do worthwhile.
We routinely provide pro bono legal services as part of our continued obligation and commitment to the community. We truly believe that if individuals commit to work within the communities in which they live and give to that community-lives will be enriched. This payment forward should and will change the world life by life, person by person, community by community.
